MAPSD Internal Google Ads Reporting Tool
MAPSD Campaign Analysis is a private reporting and campaign analysis tool developed for the exclusive use of MAPSD's authorized team members.
The tool connects to the Google Ads API to retrieve campaign and performance information from advertiser accounts managed by MAPSD through our Google Ads manager account.
It does not create, edit, pause or remove campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets or any other Google Ads entities.
About MAPSD
MAPSD is a Brazilian paid-media agency founded in 2010. We manage Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns for approximately 10 active clients, primarily e-commerce and digital-product businesses.
Our business model is based exclusively on management and consulting fees paid by our clients. MAPSD does not sell advertising inventory and does not sell, license or distribute the internal tool described on this page.
All advertiser accounts accessed by the tool are linked to MAPSD's Google Ads manager account and are managed with authorization from the respective advertisers.
Purpose of the tool
Our team analyses the performance of each client's campaigns several times per week.
Before developing this integration, our managers had to open each Google Ads account, manually export performance data and consolidate it with Meta Ads and Google Analytics 4 data in spreadsheets.
MAPSD Campaign Analysis automates this reporting process. It allows our team to retrieve campaign data from Google Ads and display it alongside information from the other platforms we manage.
This reduces manual work, minimizes data-entry errors and gives our media managers more time to analyse campaign performance and make informed optimization decisions.
Clients do not access or operate the tool. The application is used internally by the MAPSD team as part of the campaign management and reporting services contracted by each advertiser.
How we use the Google Ads API
The integration has a reporting-only purpose.
The tool uses the Google Ads API to retrieve:
Advertiser accounts linked to our manager account;
Campaign ID, name and status;
Advertising channel type;
Campaign start date;
Campaign budget information;
Daily advertising cost;
Impressions and clicks;
Conversions;
Conversion value.
This information is displayed in the internal Google Ads section of each client's dashboard. Our team uses it to analyse spend, conversions, CPA, conversion value and ROAS over time.
The same data may be included in performance reports delivered exclusively to the advertiser that owns the corresponding Google Ads account.
Read-only integration
MAPSD Campaign Analysis uses the Google Ads API only for reporting and read-only operations.
The application uses GoogleAdsService.Search to retrieve account, campaign and performance information.
The tool does not:
Create or edit campaigns;
Create or edit ads or ad groups;
Change campaign budgets;
Pause or enable campaigns;
Add or remove keywords;
Upload conversions;
Create Google Ads accounts;
Access keyword planning or recommendation services;
Make requests to Google Ads mutate services.
All campaign changes and optimizations are performed manually by authorized MAPSD media managers through the official Google Ads web interface.
Internal workflow
An authorized MAPSD team member associates a client record in the internal dashboard with the corresponding Google Ads customer ID.
The tool verifies that the account is available under MAPSD's Google Ads manager account.
A scheduled synchronization retrieves campaign metadata and recent daily performance metrics.
The retrieved information is stored in MAPSD's private database.
Our team reviews campaign investment, conversions, CPA, conversion value and ROAS in the dashboard.
Any optimization decision is implemented manually in the Google Ads web interface.
Performance information may be included in a report delivered only to the advertiser that owns the account.
Access and account authorization
The application is not publicly available.
There is no public registration, free trial, pricing plan or external user account. Only authorized MAPSD team members can access the internal dashboard.
Google Ads API requests are authenticated through OAuth 2.0 using an account controlled by MAPSD. Each request identifies our Google Ads manager account, and the tool only retrieves information from advertiser accounts linked to that manager account.
MAPSD does not use the tool to access unrelated Google Ads accounts.
Data handling and privacy
Google Ads information retrieved by the tool is used exclusively for:
Internal campaign analysis;
Campaign management decisions;
Reporting to the advertiser that owns the data.
MAPSD does not sell Google Ads data, expose it publicly, share it with unauthorized third parties or use it to create cross-advertiser benchmarks.
The application is hosted on private infrastructure controlled by MAPSD. Access credentials are protected and are not displayed in the dashboard or disclosed to clients or third parties.
Campaign performance data retrieved through the integration is retained for up to 90 days and is then automatically removed from the tool's database.
API usage
The integration currently supports approximately 10 advertiser accounts.
A scheduled synchronization runs once per hour, with occasional manual refreshes performed by authorized team members. The expected volume is a few hundred reporting requests per day.
The application currently uses version 25 of the Google Ads API and the GoogleAdsService.Search method.
Compliance
MAPSD intends to comply with the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions, applicable Google Ads policies and Google Ads API requirements.
The integration is private, reporting-only and limited to advertiser accounts that MAPSD is authorized to manage.
